Learning About Sourcing Auto Accessories

Hi, I'm Kate Balcome. Welcome to my site about automotive accessories. As an owner of three antique vehicles, I often run into problems sourcing original automotive accessories. I have to talk with car club communities or arrange part runs with suitable suppliers to find the pieces I need. Although I could fit a different part, it's important to keep my vehicles as original as possible. I want to use this site to help other people find the auto accessories they need for their car builds. I may discuss the process of manufacturing the parts in detail from time to time. I may also cover purchase options and methods you can use to find the best deal on these parts. I hope you will come by again soon to learn more. Thanks.

Deodorize & Disinfect Used Vehicles Before Offering Them For Sale

Since the COVID pandemic began, used cars are in greater demand. This has prompted some entrepreneurs to compete with used car dealers for sales. Whether you are an entrepreneur who is interested in flipping used cars for profit—effectively becoming a used car dealer—or you are already operating a used car dealership, it's important to prepare the vehicles you sell since you have more competition now than ever before. Here's how.

Detail Cars to Clean & Deodorize

Of course, detailing the interior and exterior of a car can transform it to showroom quality... but that doesn't mean it will pass the smell test. Odors in vehicles can cause red flags to be raised for potential buyers, as to the care and maintenance the car may or may not have had. This is particularly true if the car has had any serious mechanical issues that could have caused the interior of the car to be filled with a noxious odor, such as when an A/C compressor has overheated or when a gas line has ruptured.

It's important to deodorize and not just mask odors with a product such as scent bombs, foggers, or sprays. These types of products only mask odors for a brief period of time. The odor will be noticeable when these products wear off. Instead, use a professional deodorizing product that contains chlorine dioxide, which has been used for odor elimination and disinfection for many years.

Use Deodorizers that Disinfect

It's important to note that products formulated with chlorine dioxide are typically found on List N, which is a list of disinfectants for SARS-CoV-2. Therefore, if you find yourself having potential customers who are wary of getting into used vehicles due to concerns of COVID-19, you can ensure them that you have used products in the vehicle that are listed in the Environmental Protection Agency's List N. A deodorizer that is listed as a disinfectant on List N shows how powerful of a product it is in eliminating germs and odors, not just in covering up odors with temporary scents or fragrances.

Since your used car sales business will likely continue to see good sales, it's a good idea to order these products in bulk. A good benefit from ordering products in bulk is that typically helps you reduce costs overall since bulk orders are typically discounted. You may also benefit from arranging monthly subscription orders so you lower your chances of running out of products.
